| Free summer activities are offered for children | l-onstot | | Updated: 2010-07-02 09:04:00 | | The Joplin Parks and Recreation Department is adding a new concept to summer playgrounds. Until July 29, 2010 a free event featuring arts/crafts and playground activities for children will be offered at four locations.
This is the schedule:
- Ewert Park: Mondays 10 a.m.-noon & Wednesdays 1-3 p.m.
- Leonard Park: Tuesdays 10 a.m.-noon & Thursdays 1-3 p.m.
- Cunningham Park: Wednesdays 10 a.m.-noon & Mondays 1-3 p.m.
- Joplin Athletic Complex: Thursdays 10 a.m.-noon & Tuesdays 1-3 p.m.
