| Joplin Farmers Market is currently accepting applications from vendors. The city is encouraging all vendors interested in selling fresh fruits, vegetables, plants and flowers, locally raised beef, and/or baked goods to participate. All items in the Market must be grown or produced within 70 miles of Joplin, to ensure locally grown items for its customers.
The market will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays beginning Saturday, June 18 and ending on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011. It will be located at the north end of Joplin Memorial Hall parking lot.
