The Joplin City Health Department has a limited quantity of seasonal flu vaccinations that they will be administering to the public 3-years-of-age or older. The clinic by appointment only will take place on Monday, Oct. 3 and Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-4 p.m. in the upper level entrance (west side) of 321 E. 4th St. At present a very small quantity of vaccine against the flu is available for pregnant women and children younger than 3-years-of-age.

The fee per person is $15 with payment by cash, adult Medicaid or Medicare Part B. A claim form will be submitted for those 65 or older presenting a Medicare Part B card.
