| JEFFERSON CITY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will begin a series of workshops regarding coordination plans for public transit - human services transportation. The workshops will provide technical assistance to communities in developing regional coordination plans and meeting federal requirements. public transit agencies, human service transportation providers, regional and metropolitan planning groups and the general public are invited to attend.
The local workshop will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012, in the Empire Room of the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce, 320 E. 4th St. Other workshops will be held in Jefferson City, Poplar Bluff, Hannibal, St. Joseph, Chesterfield and Lee's Summit.
