| Betty Oliver, a CNA is honored | lisa | | Updated: 2009-03-04 14:38:04 |  | | | Betty Oliver, certified nursing assistant, of the Galena Nursing Center, pictured at left, was named 2009 Quality Care Provider at Americare’s Fifth Annual Key to Quality Caregivers Convention and Awards Banquet in St. Louis on February 25, 2009. She was selected among 200 caregivers representing over 90 Americare assisted living and skilled nursing facilities throughout the region. The company-wide honors were bestowed upon Oliver based upon her total commitment to quality in all aspects of her work. Working as a CNA at GNC for 10 years, she became an integral part of the evening shift nursing team. At right is Karla Baum, director of operations, Kansas Skilled Division. The center is located at 1220 E. 8th St. in Galena, KS. |
