Poet's Corner: WAR Eclipse mambo
Updated: 2007-03-05 15:13:07

The lunar eclipse on March 3, 2007 brought to mind this war analogy as the rounds of news from Iraq continues.

WAR Eclipe
by May Belle Osborne

Blood red moon
Eclipses the stain
The message soon
Must have tears like rain

The man is sad
Who set the hourfire
Presence of glad
With mercenaries for hire

The message is clear
And makes its way
With choked-back fear
To the eventual end
Where essence is lost
On the deafening cheer

The head plate shines
To the stubborn flair
It reflects the path

Just gives us all chairs
As we test the wear
It's a must-see

Have a look see
Tonight in the sky
Where will you be?
