The Joplin Globe's booth was popular at the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce Business Expo 2005. A member of the advertising department pits the "luck of the house" against anyone willing to try to defeat it in a game of 21. Cars spilled out of the parking lot at the Hammons Trade Center on January 18, 2005 when the business community came to mingle. The Expo was open to the general public the following day.
