| The Missouri Eye Institute of Joplin under the direction of Dr. Ernest Bhend, ophthalmologist and Joplin native, has announced that the practice is back at its original Thousand Oaks Medical Building location, 1905 W. 32nd St.
The doctors and staff of Missouri Eye Institute specialize in the most progressive eye care including all types of laser vision correction surgeries, as well as corneal transplants, no-stitch cataract removal, glaucoma treatment and cosmetic procedures. Bhend's areas of specialty include cataract surgery and intraocular lens (IOL) implants, ocular plastic surgery, pediatric ophthalmology, retinal disease, glaucoma management and general ophthalmology.
