As you are aware, the governor signed HB 7, which contains the appropriation for the Missouri Arts Council (MAC), the Missouri Humanities Council, public broadcasting and tourism.
The governor and General Assembly approved a $4.5 million increase to the $3.3 million core for the Missouri Cultural Trust Fund. Also, approved was a $500,000 appropriation from General Revenue for MAC. This means a total of $8.3 million for the arts!
All Missourians supporting the arts should thank Gov. Blunt and their local legislators for their continued support for Missouri's arts industry!
