Detectives with the Joplin Police Department served a search warrant at 2205 ½ N. Florida. An Apple iPad 2 was recovered that was recently taken during a burglary at the Verizon store located at 111 N. Range Line Rd. The suspect, Benjamin Boyer, pictured was arrested and charges are pending for Receiving Stolen Property which is a Class C Felony.
There were several other electronic type items that were seized from the house as well. The investigation continues and it is anticipated further charges will follow.
