Leodor Oana, 62, from Lakewood, OH has been identified as the driver of a semi truck involved in a single vehicle crash at mile marker 8.4 of I-44 today (Dec. 20, 2012). The driver indicated to officers that a tire on the vehicle blew causing the crash which turned the truck on its side.

There is no indication that the high winds had a factor in the crash at this time. The driver refused medical transport and was released from the scene.

One lane of traffic in the westbound lane of I-44 remained closed until the debris from the crash was removed.
