Updated: 2009-02-20 14:20:26
Cmdr. Bryan C. Still, a Joplin native, is “piped ashore” after taking the helm of Naval Submarine Support Center(NSSC) New London in a ceremony held February 20, 2009, in Groton, CT. Still relieved Commander Thomas J. Monroe as the fifth commanding officer of NSSC whose main mission is to provide material and personnel support to the three Groton based submarine squadrons and their submarines. Still previously served as executive officer aboard USS Connecticut and most recently completed a shore assignment as navy projects officer on the staff of the joint staff director of intelligence.
