Clay Cooper celebrates 25th year in Branson pveach
Updated: 2011-02-14 14:32:06
Country music artist Clay Cooper is celebrating his 25th year performing in Branson. He and his cast of Clay Cooper's Country Music Express have put together an all new variety show for the occasion filled with singing, dancing, gun-slinging, rope-twirling and clean comedy fun. Cooper first performed in Branson in 1986 as part of the Texas Goldminors playing bass and singing. From 1994-2003 he performed for Country Tonite as bass player and host. His Music Express began as a morning show at the Caravelle Theatre in 2005 with 12 performers, moved in 2007 to the Clay Cooper Theatre and finally in 2010 settled at his current venue on Highway 76. The 2011 show consists of nine diverse dancers, a six-piece live band, cowboy Johnny Lonestar, the comedy of Buckets 'n Boards and Matt Gumm, his young family members and himself.
