Joplin exec is appointed to state board robinson

Randall (Randy) M. Wheeler, 49, of Joplin recently was appointed to the State Blasting Board by Governor Matt Blunt. President and blast vibration consultant for White Industrial Seismology of 1206 Schifferdecker Avenue, Wheeler holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Missouri Southern State University and a master's in mathematics from Pittsburg State University. Besides vibration monitoring services, White sells its own line of seismograph equipment worldwide.

Pending Senate confirmation, Wheeler's term would end on January 15, 2012. Blunt also appointed Thomas L. Couch of Saint Genevieve, Keith M. Henderson of Union and Theodore (Ted) L. Martin of Branson to this board for terms ending 2009, 2010 and 2011, respectively.
