| Barger-Saunders receives second award | s-smith | | Updated: 2010-12-11 10:15:13 |  | | | Missouri Southern State University respiratory care student Brenda Barger-Saunders of Joplin (at left) is presented with Lambda Beta Society's top scholarship award by Kim Hill, Lambda Beta's national president during the 57th Annual International Convention for the American Association of Respiratory Care held in Las Vegas, NV on December 8, 2010. Barger-Saunders also was honored this past summer by being one of only 70 students from over 10,000 applicants to receive the Pearson Prize for Higher Education and its accompanying grants. |
