| JOPLIN - DVDs of the spring commencement ceremonies for Missouri Southern State University, Joplin High School and Carl Junction High School are available for purchase from KGCS-TV. It should be noted, however, that Joplin Schools students each will be receiving a free CD thanks to a special grant.
The station covered both commencement ceremonies for Missouri Southern on May 19. Coverage also was provided for the Carl Junction High School ceremony on May 13 and the Joplin High School commencement on May 21 with special commencement speakers President Barak Obama and Governor Jay Nixon.
The cost per DVD is $20, $25 after June 1, 2012, with proceeds benefitting the television station at MSSU.
