Springfield CVB offers visitors $40 gift card s-wade

Springfield, MO - To help travelers cover the high cost of gasoline, the Springfield, MO, Convention & Visitors Bureau is offering a $40 Visa gift card to visitors. The offer is valid through December 2007.

To be eligible for the "We'll Buy Your Gas" rebate, visitors must stay at least two nights at a participating hotel, spend at least $25 at a participating restaurant, purchase two tickets to Wonders of Wildlife Museum & Aquarium and obtain a validation stamp (no purchase necessary) at Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World.

Springfield is the third-largest city in Missouri and features a wide variety of attractions, events and amenities for visitors.

Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World is the first and biggest Bass Pro store in the country. Featuring a huge selection of outdoor gear, the store's 300,000-square-foot showroom includes an art gallery, aquariums, a four-story waterfall and other wildlife attractions.

At Wonders of Wildlife Museum & Aquarium, patrons will be entertained and educated by more than 225 species of live animals, along with interactive, hands-on displays.
