| Artists, get ready to “Express & Impress” at the St. Peters Cultural Arts Centre. The art show and competition, which takes place from October 12 to December 3, 2012, encourages artists to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces of work depicting either expressionist or impressionist style.
The show is open to both youth and adult, amateur and professional artists. Prizes will be awarded in the categories of drawing/painting, photography, and miscellaneous/sculpture.
The cost to enter as an Art Centre member is $15 for up to four pieces. Non-members can submit up to three pieces for $20. The youth entry fee is $5 per piece.
Artwork will be received on Tuesday, Oct. 9, from 9 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. The opening reception will take place on Friday, Oct. 12, from 6-8 p.m.
