| KidsFirst, a new non-secular organization based on a national model formed as a ministry of the First Presbyterian Church of Webb City, is looking for additional volunteers. Recently having provided a bike rodeo and safety fair, the group wants to expand their efforts.
Their next goal is the establishment of an after school tutoring program for students in the Webb City school district. Volunteers are needed to assist in cleaning and painting a room that has been provided by the church.
Tutors with a positive attitude will be needed beginning in September to help students with homework. Background checks will be required. Community members also are needed to serve on the board of directors to plan future projects.
