Mrs. Missouri contest seeks contestants staff
Updated: 2008-01-04 19:28:18
Mrs. America, Inc., a Santa-Monica based organization, is looking for married women to compete for the title of Mrs. Missouri. Judging involves an interview and wearing a swimsuit and evening gown. The winner will be crowned on May 2-3, 2008 in Chillicothe. The state winner potentially could become Mrs. World.

All contestants must be 18-years-of-age or older, a resident of the state and, of course, married.

Mrs. America is a reality-based prime time television special on the Women's Entertainment Network. Each year, 51 delegates (US states plus the District of Columbia) compete for the title. The winner makes year-long appearances throughout the country on behalf of married women. Contestants also are vying for prizes.

The 2007 Missouri state Mrs. America is Andrianne Caruso of St. Louis, a chemist for Annheuser Busch.

For more information about the competition contact Teresa Foli, state director at (660) 646-0423.
