Updated: 2008-05-23 19:52:26
The Sentry, Crowder College's newspaper, took top honors as the best community college newspaper for the state of Missouri in 2007. This announcement was made at the Missouri Collegiate Media Association's banquet last month. Latonia Bailey noted that it was the first time to receive this honor since she became the paper's adviser in 1994. Past and present members of the Sentry staff who attended the state journalism banquet are (top row, L-R) fall editor Megan Clark, Latonia Bailey, Bridget Rapp, spring editor Sarah Serio, and Krysti Hines; (bottom row, L-R) Curtis Almeter and Luke Taylor.
