Series of tree pruning workshops is scheduled staff
Updated: 2008-10-15 09:37:38
Many people think tree pruning is an easy task--just clip away anything dead, unruly or in the way. However, improper tree pruning may cause irreparable damage.

An explanation on the why and how-to of pruning will be offered by the Missouri Department of Conservation Urban Forester Jon Skinner at the following days and locations (starting times are all 6:30 p.m.):

  • Nov. 17 - Wildcat Conservation and Audubon Center, Wildcat Park, Joplin

  • Nov. 18 - MDC Office Mtg. Rm., 1109 S. Main St., El Dorado Springs

  • Nov. 20 - City Hall Council Chambers, 319 E. Dallas, Mount Vernon

  • Nov. 24 - New-Mac Electric Community Rm., 9 Mustang La., Anderson

  • Nov. 25 - Elementary school gym, 408 Locust, Lockwood

  • Dec. 1  - Community Center, corner of Country Rd. & Maple St., Monett
