H1N1 shots are available now on walk-in basis staff

H1N1 vaccinations are available at the Newton County Health Department for all area residents, regardless of age, medical condition or residency. Children, ages 9 or younger who require two doses of the vaccine, may get the second dose regardless of where the first dose was administerd. A record of the first dose is required.

The vaccinations are free of charge and available on a walk-in basis. Hours for vaccinations are Monday through Friday, 8-11:30 a.m. and 1-3:30 p.m. Both H1N1 nasal spray and injections are available.
