| The Community Foundation of Southwest Missouri, an affiliate of the Community Foundation of the Ozarks has awarded four area students scholarships, according to an announcement by Michelle Ducre.
Three $5,000 renewable scholarships were awarded. Scott Knutzen, Carl Junction High School and Courtney Mayfield, Lamar High School received Curtis Rex Carter Scholarships and Jennifer Simpson, Thomas Jefferson High School received the Henry J. & Lucille J. Straus Scholarship.
The Quigley Christian Athlete Scholarship for $500 went to Chase Dilworth, Webb City High School. Dilworth and partner Caleb Shoemake finished third in the Class 1, District 5 tennis competition. The Cardinals lost to Thomas Jefferson in a repeat of the previous competition. Go Back |
