Topics covered on Saturday include understanding exposure: using the zone system for color; workflow: processing images with Adobe Lightroom; introduction to macro photography; using light to create mood and dimension and keeping photography fresh. Three sessions on Sunday include video for photographers: capture and composition; nature photography and photographing people and a lengthy afternoon critique. Both days include a short get-together from 4:30-5 p.m. for those seeking more training options.
Participants will be provided with note-taking materials and class outlines although hand-held audio recorders will be allowed. Bring cameras for appropriate sessions and if interested in taking part in the critique, bring a digital image in large JPEG format (ideally 5-10 megabytes) on a storage device (Windows Vista users need to follow special instructions here).
Tuition is $179 for two-days or $129 for one. Save $5 for online registration. Save $5 for registration 30-days in advance. Groups of five or more save an additional $10 per person for two days or $5 for one. Add $10 if registering on the day of the event. To register go here.
