Joplin Public Library has expanded digitally staff
Updated: 2011-03-21 19:31:29
Joplin Public Library has expanded its services. Library patrons may now download audiobooks and eBooks 24/7 from the library's webwsite to PCs, Mac®s and many mobile devices.

Users will need to install free software. This will include OverDrive® Media Console™ to read audiobooks and Adobe® Digital Editions to read eBooks.

Titles may be enjoyed immediately or downloaded to a variety of devices including iPod®, Sony® Reader™, and many others. Some audio titles also may be burned to a CD to listen on-the-go. All titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period. There will be no late fees.

"With hundreds of popular fiction and non-fiction titles to choose from, the new collection is guaranteed to have something for everyone," said Jacque Gage, Joplin Library director.
