Diabetes supplies continue to be offered staff

The American Diabetes Association partnering with the Alliance of SWMO, doctors, nurses and pharmaceutical reps have set up a diabetes hub for Joplin residents left without their needed supplies. These people may come to The Alliance of SWMO, 2914 E.32nd St. everyday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to receive everything from meters, strips, diabetes medication and glucose tablets.

The clinic jointly is being staffed by volunteer doctors and residents from St. Johns and Freeman together with doctors from Northwest Arkansas and Springfield. The local office of the American Diabetes Association may be reached by phoning (417) 890-8400.
