wet & torn photographs
scattered throughout the deadly path
in the wake of the aftermath
Millions watch on their TV
As the newsman captures tragedy
shattered homes & shattered dreams
the wreckage of their memories-
its unfortunate for the lucky ones
as they stumble through the damage done
as they see their city has become
unrecognizable to what once was
what has fell, they'll build again
rise together family & friends
side by side an united stand
this tragedy won't be their end
