Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores open mall location  staff
Updated: 2011-07-12 08:48:47
As of July 10, 2011, Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores has opened a temporary store at the Northpark Mall in Joplin. Their store in the strip mall on the corner of Range Line Road and 20th Street was destroyed in the May 22, 2011 tornado.

"No employees or customers lost their lives...thanks to the quick response of Jo-Ann Team Members inside the store, reported Kathryn Perkins, spokesperson for Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft. "All Team Members have accepted the opportunity to work at the new location, which will allow them to serve the community in this time of need."

Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores, founded in 1943 as a single retail store, claims to be the largest fabric and craft retailer with 750 locations in 48 states.
