The Raycliff Attractions has announced that they are hosting a Grand Opening SCREAMIN' for JOPLIN event from 7 p.m. to midnight, Friday and Saturday, Sept. 30 and Oct. 1, 2011. During those two days they will donate $1.00 to the Joplin Tornado First Response Fund for each Raycliff Manor ticket sold.

"We've been hard at work making changes and updates for our 8th year of fear at the Raycliff Attractions," said Kelly Allen, public relations representative for the group. "On behalf of the entire Raycliff fright team, we also want to take the time to say thanks to all [of you] near and far who have shown your support for Joplin as we 'rise from the ashes' and come back better and stronger than ever! We appreciate the loyal support and patronage of our fans, members of the press and media, area businesses and, of course, our sponsors. We're looking forward to not only meeting, but exceeding your expectations once again this year!"

"We're also looking for performers and service providers to help us make this an event to remember," Allen said. "This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your abilities, while donating your time to a very good cause."

The organizers especially are interested in jugglers, balloon artists, fire dancers, face painters and anything else that will contribute to what they label their "already frightfully festive atmosphere."
