| A new company, Espressoria, LLC, has been formed with the original Red Onion owners, David & Cindy Blum, and a new partner, Jim Hardy. Jim will be joining the Red Onion family as the Chief Operating Officer of Espressoria, LLC. Previously Jim worked for Applebee's as their area director from 1994 - 2012, and prior to that he worked for Raphael's in Joplin from 1984 to 1993. Jim, his wife Christina and children Abigail and Nathanael, live in Webb City and attend College Heights Christian Church.
Espressoria, LLC plans to open additional Red Onion Espressoria stores in Arkansas, Kansas and Missouri over the next few years, as well as enhancing the current Red Onion Restaurants: Red Onion Cafe in historic, downtown Joplin since 1995, and the original Red Onion Espressoria on 32nd & Indiana in Joplin.
In the spring of 2012, a new Espressoria will open at 14th & Walton Blvd. in Bentonville, Arkansas. The new partnership looks forward to quick expansion in the 4-states area with the great Red Onion food that originated in Joplin, MO.
