| The state's Resource, Recovery and Rebuilding Center moved June 20, 2012, to 3600 E. Newman Rd., Joplin, inside the regional offices of the Missouri Department of Mental Health.
The center, which operated at 705 Illinois Ave. since opening June 7, 2011, assists Joplin-area residents affected by the May 2011 tornado with state services such as credit counseling.
Services at the new office include aid through the Missouri Housing Development Corp. and Department of Economic Development. Hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday. The phone number for the Resource, Recovery and Rebuilding Center is (417) 625-9100.
