Boys and Girls Club is seeking mentors
January 31, 2014
The Boys and Girls Club of Joplin is looking for adults to become mentors to over 30 at risk children. The club is located at 317 Comingo (off of 4th Street), Joplin. Volunteers are needed immediately to play basketball, paint nails, help with homework, play a board game or talk about life.

"Many of these children have no positive role models in their lives and are searching for an adult to guide them through the trials and tribulations of life," said Mackenzie Garst, development director. "This is your opportunity to give back to your community, and maybe learn something about yourself in the process."
