Members of the Blasters’ Front Office as well as Blasters’ Field Manager Carlos Lezcano will be on hand to oversee the event.
“Open tryouts are a unique event for this community, we could very easily find the next superstar right in our own backyard,” said Blasters’ GM Shawn Suarez. “It’s a great chance for anyone who aspires to be a professional athlete to go out there and showcase their talents in front of decision makers.”
Players are expected to wear proper baseball attire and will need to provide their own equipment, including wood bats, gloves, and catching gear if needed. The cost to register for the open tryout is $50 if done in advance of April 25th. Players who register on the day of the tryouts will be charged $75 to participate.
