Sale on Third Thursday benefits Joplin City Hall
July 09, 2015
Take advantage of a discount during the Third Thursday event from 5:30-8 p.m. on July 16, 2015. The ceramic Joplin City Hall building that formerly sold for $50 is now being offered for $30 at a table outside of 602 S. Main St. in Joplin. The replica also known as the Newman Building is being offered by Joplin City Clerk Barbara Hogelin as a "Christmas in July" sale to help raise funds for the city hall holiday window displays.

In addition to the lighted building, a wide selection of city of Joplin lapel pins will be for sale for $1 each. Pins represent the city flower the iris, Route 66, the city seal, the city flag, a miner and the state of Missouri.

Any questions? If so, contact the office of the city clerk at (417) 624-0820, ext. 220.
