PSU's Nature Reach program includes tour

Delia Lister, director of Pittsburg State University's Nature Reach program, introduces one of its "feathered friends" named "Harriet" to a local audience.

A detailed talk about Pittsburg State University's Nature Reach program will be presented by Delia Lister, its director. Her discussion about the history of Nature Reach, its challenges and achievements and its annual activities will take place beginning at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, in Room 102 of PSU's Yates Hall, 1702 S. Joplin st., Pittsburg, KS.

Ater the presentation the audience is invited for an informal tour of the Nature Reach room on the 3rd floor of the adjacent Heckert-Wells Hall. Free refreshments will be served by meeting host Sperry-Galligar Audubon.

The mission of Nature Reach, an outreach program of PSU's biology department's Life Science Education Program, is to help educatie residents of the four state region about the natural history of the area and local and national environmental issues of significance.
