Owens Corning employees impact Joplin

Owens Corning employees on Thursday, Apr. 7, 2016, will trade business attire for hard hats and construction tools to build a home with Joplin Area Habitat for Humanity. In addition to supplying a team of home-building volunteers, Owens Corning is donating building materials and funds to support Joplin Area Habitat for Humanitys mission of creating safe, affordable housing. The jobsite is at 2415 S. Porter Ave., Joplin.

The effort will showcase the global companys commitment to Joplin in advance of the opening of its new manufacturing site at 1983 State Line Rd. The new plant will create more than 100 new jobs.
