Advertising copy contest is announced

The American Advertising Federation- Joplin has issued its call for entries for the 2012 ADDY® Awards Competition recognizing advertising creative excellence in the Joplin metropolitan market. Those individuals who have had work published or aired in the local area between January 1, 2011 and December 31, 2011 are eligible for consideration. All non-student entries must be received by 5 p.m. on January 6, 2012 with a fee of $50 for professional members and $60 for non-members; student entries have until 5 p.m. on January 13, 2011 with a fee of $20 for members and $30 for non-members. Delivery location is College Heights Christian Church, 4311 E. Newman Rd., Joplin, att. Tammy Cady. Award winners will be honored at a dinner on February 18, 2012 at Christman's Event Center in downtown Joplin and will be eligible to compete with other winners in ADDY Awards district 9.
