| Downtown Joplin Alliance currently is recruiting artists and performers for its sixth season of Third Thursday events that will run from March until October. The first will take place on March 21 from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
Live auditions will be held from 8:30-9:30 p.m.on February 27, 2013, at the Kitchen Pass Restaurant, 1212 S. Main St., Joplin. As an alternative, performers by February 28, 2013, may send a link that demonstrates their talents here. Artists should send three images in .jpg format and one image showing a collection of their work here.
Within one week the Third Thursday committee plans to announce their acceptance of what is submitted. At that time an e-mail link will be provided for paying the $20 fee per participant that is used for promotion of the artwalk. Needs-based scholarships will be available.
Sponsorship of the event is encouraged. A business showcase also is planned for May 16 and October 16. For more details go here. Go Back |
