Ads displaying appreciation for the disclosure activities of Edward Snowden were purchased in August 2013 and will be continued to be displayed on buses in Washington, D.C. by The Partnership for Civil Justice Fund.
While the New York Times is the most recent significant voice calling for clemency for Snowden, the PCJF hopes that their efforts, having millions of people joining them who have the expectation that their privacy and personal freedoms be respected, will influence Attorney General Eric Holder and President Obama to drop charges of espionage against the man they consider a "whistle blower" and not a spy.
