Buy a bird cut-out for a buck
March 25, 2013
Locations around Joplin are selling paper bluebird cutouts for $1 each to support the Wildcat Glades Conservation & Audubon Center. The campaign, "Bucks for Birds," will last through April 30, 2013. The birds say I helped protect nature! with a place for the purchaser to write his or her name.

Because the Audubon Center does not charge admission and does not receive any designated tax funding, the monies raised during this campaign will help support the education programs and operations of the center.

Donations may be made at 17 locations throughout Joplin and Seneca. They are Simple Simon Pizza, Blue Moon Market, Instant Karma, The Title Place, Candy House Gourmet Chocolates, Cleos Picture Framing & Design, Park Street Station, and Sportsmans Park. They also may be purchased at the center located in Wildcat Park (I-44, exit 6, then south on Hearnes Boulevard), Joplin.
